A nice and veeery German beer house. They even went so far as to import things like German salt. For those interested in Western culture, this is recommendable. For westerners, not so much. I was a bit disappointed by the offer of food and ended up not eating at all but only trying their beers. They were good. But I can get that at home too.

Nice food and good beers especially from 730pm onwards with piano performance.

Nice place to have a beer

Did the tasting with a tour from a cruise ship. Great beers and friendly manager. Use Google Translate to understand the beer descriptions.

The food is okay but way too pricey for what it is (but all food is pricey in Hakodate so there is no surprise there) but at least the place is nice and more fancy than the usual. The unique thing about it is of course the beer, which whether you like it or not depends on your taste.

Great beer! They have a nice exterior sign by the front door with a picture of each dish and English title. You order via a tablet and the food is brought to your table. Free Wifi. Can pay with Visa or mastercard.

Nice place for some beers. It's actually a Micro Brewery. Good to spent an evening there.

Interesting place. No matter what your language, you order from an iPad and they bring it to you. Beers were pretty good. I recommend the barley wine, if it's on the menu. It comes in a really interesting vessel. Enjoy the fish and fried food. Could've done without the singing and piano player though.

Great place for tasting Hakodate beers with 7 different kinds of Hakodate beers to choose from. Each type of beer comes with 3 different volume to order. There're also value packs of 3 beers or 4 beers to choose from. Topping that, big variety of meals on menu to go with your beer!

Ok beer. Close to the style they say but not quite there. Quick service and easy ordering. You order using and iPad. We didn't have the food but others seemed to be enjoying it. The bottled beer was too expensive to take home even as a souvenir. Go to check it out and try a sample flight. I wish they had more options for their flights not just the four core beers.

Super mediocre beer. The food was hit or miss. Some dishes were good, others just normal. I love to try local beers though so if you are in that camp give it a shot.

A beerhouse suitable for group drinking and eating good food. The beer is styled like western beer, with a strong bitterness unlike the usual beer of Japan that got refreshing taste.

Lovely beer brewed on site. There was also a pianist playing as went in which was really nice.

Local brewery in Hakodate. 7 kinds of beer are available on tap.I would recommend the "bitter" one (700Â¥) rather than the recommended course. You can smell hops, and taste is much smoother.Food is great with good price. Recommended to try sirloin.

My wife and I really enjoyed the beer. They offer flights so you can sample all the different kinds of beer. The food was delicious.

An interesting selection of western style dishes along with some seafood. They have a pianist come and play every now, heard a fair amount of Disney songs interestingly.The prices can be a little steep so it's best to order things to share with others.

Good range of locally brewed german style beers. Ordering is done via an ipad at your leisure which is cool. Staff were friendly. Food is a japanese take on German food which was tasty. More expensive than going to an izakaya but in line with what you see in brew pubs around Japan.

It's a beer hall designed in a European style, most likely to cater to Japanese tourists. It's a bit kitschy for Westerners. The food quality okay but the menu boasts a mix of everything. I got a trio of fermented squid and squid guts dishes. The quality was alright. Their beer selection is decent. I got the four beer sampler that has their weizen, two ales, and a kolsch. Not bad. Probably won't stop here agajn. Oh, you also order off of an iPad..... Like being in United's hub in Newark 🤦

A little pricey for pub food. Tasted good though. Limited options for vegetarians.

Affordable price to eat..nice place...

I was really looking forward to tasting their stout but it was sold out unfortunately. Also it seems that their brown ale is just served in the other Hakodate beer hall in the brick warehouses. Anyway, ordering is pretty simple, you have a tablet and choose what you want from several snacks to their house beers, if available. By chance there was a Halloween violin / piano presentation which was really nice. They also sell some of their beers in bottles there.

Nice ambient with live music. The beer was flavorful and the food is tasty too. Good food and value for money. Attentive staff too.

The coffee beer was good. Very chill place with good fresh beer.

We only came here because it was close to our hotel and they served beer. The beer was actually really really good and the food was good as well. I was very pleasantly surprised.
